SALUTING OUR CHAMPS

This year the Colorado High School Inline Hockey League is starting a brand new feature, "Saluting Our Champs", A feature where we choose a player and find out all about them and highlight him/her.

    Meet Michael FIsk.

Michael has participated in the Colorado High School Inline Hockey League throughout his high school years. Unfortunately, in previous years Michael and his Lewis Palmer inline hockey teammates were met with a number of challenges ...winning the CHSIHL Varsity 5A State Championship. We all remember the nail biting state championship game performances that the Lewis Palmer team graced us all with in 2006 and 2007 but, with all their tremendous efforts still came up short in the final match against Eaglecrest and Douglas County respectively.

However, in 2008 Michael and his Lewis Palmer teammates once again stepped up to the challenge as they went up against a formidable Smoky Hill varsity team led by Smoky's forward and 2008 League MVP, Rees Bernot to finally win their first and well earned CHSIHL State Championship.

Northwestern Preparatory School - Attending the United States Air Force Academy in June 2009

Mike Modano  - Hockey

What are your plans for the future? i.e. career.
To be a pilot in the Air Force.
